My life
Is
A vapour
That has willed me
From
The moment of my birth
When
The light of the world
Seeped
Through
The calm comfort
Cradling me
And
Seduced me
To follow it
In to
This fractured place
That changes
As
I grow
Up and in and outward
Obtaining new perspectives
Which
Are
Temporary
Fleeting
And
Quickly
Passing away
Before
I have had my fill
Of
Whimsical enjoyment
To
Render me breathless
My life
Is
A vapour
Unable to settle
And
Become
Cemented
Because
It is necessary
For
Awakened spirits
To
Roam
Free

Learning
To tie my shoelaces
Was
One of the most difficult things
I have had to learn
Measuring
The right amount
Of
Lace
To make a bow
Learning
How
To precisely twist the lace
To prevent a knot
That would take longer
To undo
Than it did to make
Or
Tying them
Tight enough
To avoid
Tangling myself
In loosened laces
And
Tripping
Falling headfirst
Due to my haste
To complete
The task
Since
I have learned
To tie my shoelaces
The simplicity of it
Makes me wonder
Why
It had been
Difficult
To learn
Because
Loving you
Was not learned
It came
Simply
Without thought
Without trial
And
Its only difficulty
Is trying
To measure it
In adequate portions
So it will never
Run out
