When
I rarely
Put myself in your path
To encounter
The warmth
That
Radiated
From
The glow
Of
Your presence

How was it love
When
Without
My awareness
Your wholeness
Became broken
And
I
In oblivion
Failed to sense
That
You
Breathe
No more

How was it love
When
I lost you
Never knowing
That
You
Ceased to cling
To this world
As
It raced
Through its orbit
Around
A star
Whose brightness
Could not
Outshine
You
