Awesome work!!
Thank you Jim!
I enjoyed your poem. Thank you.
Isn’t it wonderful when something we see every day, suddenly becomes apparent in a whole new way. I have been savoring green lately, too, after months of no rain and fires. This is my first visit to your blog and love your poetry and photos. I have recently been adding more of my own photos to my poetry. Makes me look at them with a whole new way. Also inspires me to shoot more. Hugs, pat
Thanks Pat.

I agree with you about the effects of combining poetry with photos. I take my camera with me everywhere now in search interesting images. I love it when the poetry shows up because of a photo I’ve taken 🙂

I had a prof who always went ballistic every time I included a photograph with my poems. He said I was trying to tell him how to feel. I happen to think the marriage of word and picture is a superior experience. Here’s to us! 🙂
Thank you!
I agree with you about “the marriage of word and picture”.
It’s challenging to find a picture that perfectly embodies the words you have strung together so that the two things create harmony.
Cheers to you too!
