Cools me

The clip of my stride
Quickens
Pumping
Blood
Through
My body
At
A rate
That
Would cause
Other liquids
To boil

While
The leaves
Of
Canopying branches
Fan
My head
As
They are stirred
By
The same breezes
That
Dance
Between
My thoughts

Waiting

And
Mine
Alone
