WARMED AIR
March 8, 2012 by PhotoPoetics™
Candy floss
Colours
Coat
Morning skies
And
Rich
Creamsicle clouds
Call
To memory
Carnival days
When
The chime
Of
Children’s laughter
Was
Carried
Along
Gentle breezes
Like
Music
In to
The sunshine
Warmed
Air

What enchantment! This poem and this photo reminds me so much of arriving on late afternoons (when it was finally cooler in a mid-Mississippi September day!) at our state fairgrounds and parking and looking up on the hill to the outlines of the downtown buildings against a brillian early autumn sunset! Wonderful memories you have blessed me with in your post! Thank you!
granbee,
I’m always happy to be a part of reliving happy memories 🙂
“Tasteful” and visual!
Thanks Bonnie!
These clouds truly reminded me of Creamsicles 🙂
Just a delightful poem to be paired with the photo…just perfect.
Thank you!
