THINGS FALL APART
June 19, 2012 by PhotoPoetics™
Things
Fall apart
Sometimes
Suddenly
From
The breath
Of
A faint wind

That
Scatters
In to fragments
What was believed
To be sturdy
As
Perennial weeds
Deceptively veiled
In the softness
Of
A thousand
Mesmerizing
Points of beauty
Too soon lost
As
They dreamily float
Becoming
Moments
We are uncertain
Were
Ever
Lived

The photo is perfect for this poem…enjoyed both.
Thank you!
Thanks for your poem and creativity.
Thank you for supporting my work 🙂
As slpmartin said – the photo is perfect for the poem. (Quite cleverly shot and processed too.)
I tried finding a clever title for my dandylion post that you found (thank you for visiting!) and found plenty of poems about them – yours is definitely the best. I love the way you have seen and described the delicate beauty of these indestructible, invasive weeds – we all have different sides to our nature!
Thank you Noeline!
I’m touched by your words.
We do all have different sides to our nature. What’s interesting is when and how we choose to reveal them.
Very apt metaphor….. Jane
The world, viewed fractally, is a beautiful in part as in a whole….
Great concept, and I love your voice!
