The breath

A faint wind

Scatters
In to fragments
What was believed
To be sturdy
As
Perennial weeds
Deceptively veiled
In the softness
Of
A thousand
Mesmerizing
Points of beauty
Too soon lost
As
They dreamily float
Becoming
Moments
We are uncertain
Were
Ever
Lived

Stream

Pushed
Down and sideways
By
Gusty
Directionless winds
Forcing
The wetness
To reach
Unseen places
Rarely touched
With
The purity
Of
Liquid
Freshness
