Our attention

The awakening

Its slumber

A new season
Arrives
To cast colour
Up on
What
Lay
Hidden
But
Now
Bursts forth
With
Blue brightness
As
Each chime
Spreads
The news
Of
Change

Droplets of water
Hold
Both
Light and dark
As
They land
From
Falling

Entering
A world of struggle
Where
They join forces
Either
Muddying
The waters
To stifle
Our attempts
At
Opening
Streams of clarity
Or
Cleansing
Each breath
Of
Life’s air
As
We run
Dodging
Raindrops
