To hide
But
I see you
Buckling
Becoming
Bent
By the heaviness
Beneath the weight
Of
What others believe
You should be
While
Silently
Struggling
And
Steadily
Splintering
You separate
Your shielded self
Skillfully severing it
To stand apart

Numb
