To
Secure them
Against
Wickedly spoken words
Pushed
Across the air
By
The force
Of
Vicious verbal vents
To
Break
The spirits
Of
Storytellers
Before
The history
That lives
In soft sounds
Can become
Permanently
Imbedded
In
Our souls
