Wickedly spoken words
Pushed
Across the air
By
The force
Of
Vicious verbal vents
To
Break
The spirits
Of
Storytellers
Before
The history
That lives
In soft sounds
Can become
Permanently
Imbedded
In
Our souls

Very beautiful… (and to digress, I love that book “The Soul of Rumi” – in your photograph!) And it’s those “common threads” of truth that need so badly to be “imbedded” in our souls. Thank you, I love this poem.

Really enjoyed the poem…so many times only one side of a story is presented and few people seem to understand there may be another version of it.
