A heavy sadness
Sits
On
My heart
After
Witnessing
The pain
Planted
Centuries ago
That
Continues
To
Be
Harvested
With
Each life
Cut down
Like
A weed
In
A poorly tended garden

So tragic that such things still happen (or that they EVER happened)….
It is tragic.

Thank you Nia.
It is a tragic story and I believe the only way to change it is to raise awareness.
that is sad. the apartment above me has 2 planter boxes with dead plants in them. It’s been like that for 6 months. it’s a sin! 🙂
